Promotional staff are the people who represent your brand in the field: sampling in a supermarket, demonstrating a product in store, working a roadshow stop, or handing material to people on a busy shopping street. WMG Event Support supplies those teams across Europe, briefed on your product and run by our own supervisor, so you book one crew instead of chasing a separate agency in every city.
We plan an activation the way a technical event partner plans a build. Materials and uniforms are on site before the team arrives, a named team lead runs the shift, replacements for no-shows are our problem rather than yours, and every day closes with a written report. In Germany this service is usually called Promotionpersonal or a Promotionagentur, in the Netherlands a promotieteam. Same crew, same standard, one point of contact.
Most brands end up with a staffing agency in one country, another agency in the next, a transport supplier for the material and someone else again for the unit itself. Every handover is a place for the activation to fall over. WMG Event Support sits inside World Wide Mobility Group, so the promotional team, the transport of your samples, the pop-up unit and the technical build can run on one contract with one point of contact.
It also means the crew is not a list of names found the night before. Staff are briefed on your product, dressed in your uniform and managed on site by our own team lead. If someone drops out, replacing them is our job.
These come up on almost every activation brief. If yours is not answered here, ask us directly and you will get a straight answer.
Promotional staff work in the field on brand activation: sampling, demonstrations, roadshows and street promotion, where the job is to get your product into people’s hands. Hostesses are hospitality on a stand or at a venue, welcoming guests and looking after them once they arrive. Stewards and brand ambassadors are crowd facing, handling flow, access and safety. Plenty of campaigns use two of the three, and all of them can come from one booking.
Two weeks is comfortable for a standard sampling or in-store activation in one city. A multi city roadshow wants three to four weeks so a supervisor can be briefed per stop and materials can be in position ahead of the crew. We do take shorter requests, and if a timeline is not realistic we will say so rather than accept it and hope.
The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are our home markets. Activations elsewhere in Europe run through the World Wide Mobility Group network, so you still get one contract, one invoice and a local team on the ground.
Yes. Transport, storage and the physical unit sit inside the group, so samples, giveaways and a pop-up or exhibition stand can be arranged alongside the crew instead of through a separate supplier.
Every team gets a written brief covering your key messages and the practical rules of the location. A team lead runs the shift on site, checks uniforms and stock, deals with replacements and closes the day with a report including photos and numbers.
They can, though a fair usually calls for a different profile. Stand based hospitality and lead work sits on our exhibition staff page, and the build-up, breakdown and hall side on trade show staffing.
Tell us the product, the cities and the dates. You get a plan and a price, not a list of names.
