Trade show staffing is the crew that gets your stand into the hall, keeps it moving through the show, and gets it out again on time. WMG Event Support supplies that crew across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany: build-up and breakdown teams, forklift and telehandler operators, hall logistics handlers and show floor supervisors, booked by the shift or for the full tenancy period.
Exhibition halls run on fixed windows. Build-up opens, breakdown closes, and the marshal on the loading yard will not hold a slot because your freight is late. We plan the crew around those windows, brief them on the venue regulations before they arrive, and put one supervisor on the floor who owns the schedule, so you are not chasing six people at once on the busiest morning of your year.
Most exhibitors end up booking the stand builder, the freight handler, the forklift and the floor staff separately, then spend build-up week translating between them. We put the whole hall operation under one plan and one supervisor, so a delay on the freight side gets solved on the floor instead of landing back in your inbox.
WMG Event Support is part of World Wide Mobility Group, so the group that crews your show also handles the transport and the stand build. The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are our home markets, and for shows elsewhere in Europe we travel a core crew and hire locally around it.
The questions exhibitors put to us most often before a show, answered straight.
Trade show staffing is the crew around the show: build-up and breakdown teams, forklift operators, hall logistics and show floor supervision. Exhibition staff are the people on the stand itself, hosting visitors, running product demonstrations and capturing leads. Most exhibitors need both, and we plan them together rather than as two bookings.
Yes. Stand building is a service in its own right at WMG Event Support, so you can take the design and the build plus the hall crew from one partner. If you already have a stand system you like, we are happy to supply only the labour and the logistics around it.
Four to six weeks gives the safest result for a major hall, because pass administration and venue inductions take time and peak season tightens the crew pool fast. We do take shorter notice and have covered shows inside a week, but the earlier you book, the more you can choose the same faces you had last year.
Yes. Our operators are certified for the equipment they run, and we cover inbound freight checks, routing to the correct stand number, empties handling and storage for the duration of the show. Heavier or more sensitive project cargo can be routed through the group’s technical logistics division.
The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are our home markets, so Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Brussels, Antwerp, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hannover, Berlin and Munich are routine for us. For shows elsewhere in Europe we travel a core crew and hire locally around them.
AV and technical support covers screens, LED, sound and lighting on the stand, and stagehands and event technicians cover rigging and load-in where the stand carries a stage or a presentation area. Both can be booked on the same crew plan as your build-up team.
Send us the show, the hall, your stand number and the build-up window. You get a crew plan and a price back, not a brochure.
